Maria Veermäe has approximately 15 years of legal experience, much of it gained in the private sector as in-house legal counsel for manufacturing and construction companies. In these roles, she has been involved in public procurement tenders, advised on employment law matters, including employment disputes, and drafted and negotiated a wide range of contracts. She has also advised companies on legal matters arising in the course of their day-to-day business operations. Her hands-on experience working within companies has given Maria an in-depth understanding of how businesses operate and the commercial considerations behind business decisions. This enables her to approach legal matters pragmatically, with a strong focus on the client’s needs and business objectives.

Maria has also worked as a legal adviser in the public sector at the Estonian Centre for Defense Investments, where she provided legal advice on public procurement procedures across various areas and represented the organization in procurement-related disputes.

Her experience in both the private and public sectors gives Maria a well-rounded perspective and a strong understanding of the legal needs and working processes of both sectors.
