Intellectual property law specialist Hele Karja joins Glimstedt

As of September 4, intellectual property law expert lawyer Hele Karja joined Glimstedt Straus & Partners Law Firm. She previously worked as a lawyer in Swedbank.

Mr. Tiiman also said that Hele Karja is a strong addition to the team which focuses on matters of intellectual property protection in different areas of economy. „Hele Karja has also very depth knowledge on trademarks mortgage,“  added Tiiman.

 

Hele Karja said she made the decision to join Glimstedt Straus & Partners easily, because the challenges of the law firm are related to intellectual property protection which fit Karja’s areas of expertise and future plans. She also said that an important factor was the pan-Baltic and international scope of the firm, which creates an opportunity for large projects and challenges.

Hele Karja has graduated from Law Institute of University of Tartu. Karja has worked as a lawyer in Hansapank and notary bureau Tiit Sepp, Aivar Mesikäpp, Gunnar Savisaar, Merle Saar-Johanson ja Tarvi Puri. She is a member of Tallinn Rotaract Club from May 2001, where she has carried out the duties of board member, vice president and president. Since 2008 Hele Karja is a member of The European Law Students’ Association.
