Chamber of Industry and Commerce organised Estonian female leaders visit to German companies in various fields to network and be inspired.
Glimstedt was represented in the delegation by Maria Veermäe, who took the opportunity to get to know PPP organisations: “The topic of my master’s thesis was PPP or Public-Private Partnership companies, the creation of which has not been successful in Estonia so far. Although the time was limited, I got a better insight into the local business environment and the federal states’ cooperation with both new start-ups and entrepreneurs from more traditional areas.”
The delegation also visited the Berlin shop-workshop of the Estonian manufacturer Ampler Bikes, Google and the Estonian Embassy in Berlin, where the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Germany Alar Streimann gave an overview of the country’s economy and political situation .
