Glimstedt advises: EBRD supports Bioforce Viiratsi biomethane project with a loan of up to EUR 22 million

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing a senior secured loan of up to EUR 22 million to Bioforce Viiratsi OÜ, a special purpose company established for the development and operation of the Viiratsi biomethane plant.

Glimstedt has been advising Bioforce since 2021.

The project falls under the EBRD InvestEU Framework for Biofuels Development, which aims to promote the adoption of sustainable and environmentally friendly energy solutions. The investment will significantly support the development of the regional circular economy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Bioforce’s offering includes the design and construction of biomethane plants and CNG filling stations, their efficient commissioning, 24/7 operation, and professional maintenance.
