President Alar Karis paid a state visit to Latvia on 24-26 April. The President was accompanied by Climate Minister Kirsten Michal, Minister of Economic Affairs and Information Technology Tiit Riisalo, Members of the Riigikogu Henn Põlluaas and Peeter Tali, and the Chief of the Defence Forces Martin Herem, as well as a delegation of Estonian businessmen, including partner Randu Riiberg of Glimstedt Law Office.
The meetings focused on strengthening good neighbourly relations between Estonia and Latvia, especially in the digital field and defence cooperation. Randu Riiberg also visited Glimstedt’s Latvian office during the visit, where cooperation between Glimstedt’s Baltic offices, Glimstedt’s Swedish office and Ilyashev&Partners’ Ukrainian partner office was discussed.
